The Neurologist...
My Neurologist is a tiny lady. She is from the far east and has this great accent. The only problem is that half of what she is saying I can't understand. So it was a good thing that Marc went with me so he could translate for me. So all of my tests but one cam back normal. The only one that was not normal was my TEE. That is when they stick and ultrasound tube down your throat. Luckily you get to be sedated. Anyway, there is a tiny hole in my heart called a PFO. It has been there my whole life but just recently has been causing me problems. So it is good news and bad news. Good because we know what is wrong bad because I will need it fixed. And we all know how well I do with the thought of needles. So on February 17 I get to see the cardiologist and see if he will close the hole. The Neurologist said that because the hole is so small that the doctor may not want to close it. So I get to go to the doctor to see if he will close the hole. Doctors are so frustrating.

I agree - doctors are immensely frustrating. If the dr won't close the hole, then what? Do you just keep suffering? Or will they give you nice drugs to end the suffering?
